So I've spent the day banging around in Cumbria, had the best fun, can highly recommend the Wrynose and Hardknott passes , the mother in law enjoyed herself even if my clutches and brakes didn't

Oh, and I was wearing a watch. 👍
Another wagon 👍👍👍

Thanks! GT Silver for the win!

Truckster
Great spec!
Gloss black handles with the black PDLS is a nice touch.
And those are my favorite OEM 911 wheels currently.
And is it GT Silver? Always hard to tell exactly in pics.

Recently decided to jazz-up the interior of a Lupo Gti I drive from time to time - I like the look and it seems to have conjured up few extra bhp!

Nice! Love the Pasha interior. Also, nice to put it in the real successor to the Mk 1 Golf GTI!

Hah yes!
Love the Coco mats and the wood knob. And of course the seats.

Still driving the 2017 Subaru WRX LTD - bought new Nov 2016 with only 43K miles on it now. I have a bronze/gold color Subaru STi BBS wheel for the Pilot Sport 4s tires here.

Recently swapped out the Pilot Sport 4s for Continental Extreme Contact DWS all seasons for the fall weather, on a more yellow gold STi BBS wheel that were gun metal grey but I had repaired and painted.

Inherited this 1972 FJ40 from my brother, but it would cost me dearly to pay for the restoration to make it drivable and street legal...

Just bought a new (to me) car after having my 2001 BMW E46 330ci for 10 years, hopefully this one will last me another 10 and the next will likely be electric in 2030.

2012.5 991 Carrera S 3.8 PDK in Agate Grey, absolutely loving it for the comfort, driving feel and incredible sound.

Even as a static sculpture that is just too cool. I'm not even an offroad / overlanding fetishist but it's just perfect!

Did I mention that it has a 330 hp 1977 Corvette motor transplant?

But it also has a bit too much rust, no driveshaft, the insides are all hanging loose to re-wire it, And the best estimate that I got was that it would take almost $20,000 to restore it and make it road legal. At that point it might be worth $30K. So I think I’m gonna have to let it go, and not put it on a flatbed truck to haul from Arizona to Colorado where it will rust even faster.

Mines got the “no interior” interior option; no carpets, no soundproofing, no stereo etc etc one of the last manufacturers who still try to keep them light.

Great. I did the same in my vx220 -> removed everything possible. Less comfort, more pleasure ::psy::

Lovely RS4 in the background 🥰. Congrats on the 911 mate.

So many beautiful sports cars around here, I hope I may share my newest acquisition regardless.

I live in proximity to some of the most beautiful race tracks in the world, most famously Spa and the Nordschleife. Driving there has always fascinated me and I was a lucky bastard and actually got to do so quite regularly. At the same time, I have always been curious about what the future has in store for us, particularly electric cars. Excluding holidays, >95% of my traveling is distances of 200km or less. I do live in a densely populated area, charging points are easily accessible - and the combination of instant torque and the silence in the cabin really appealed to me. Not sure why it even took me a couple of month, but I finally said yes and no, didn’t get married, but ordered an electric car.

I’m sure that’s not to everybody’s taste, so I’ll leave it at that snap-shot for now until requested otherwise. 😀

The last 48h - that’s how long I’ve had the Mini Cooper SE - have been a constant stream of giggles at the wheel, without any internal combustion noise. Yep, it looks a bit absurd with the yellow highlights everywhere and the weird rims, that were initially named “Electric Corona”, at least until 2020 happened and they decided to rename the product. But it really made me fall in love with so many small details and a driving position that’s spot on, even though I’m taller than 99% of the population. It’s absolutely magnificent.

I'm not a fan of those rims! They were modelled on the UK 3 pin electric sockets. I get the idea behind it but rims should always be symetrical in my mind. My sister has just ordered one of these.
