Just added this to the collection got it sort of cheap due to not the greatest dial. Got it from a seller in the Philippines I guess the humidity got to the dial surprising not the movement. The crystal has minor cracks you can't see but it's the original. Thinking of sending it to Jack at IWW to vintage relume the dial to match the hands and if he can locate an acrylic Bulova 666 diver crystal with date magnifier for a 35mm case if not keep the original. The dial looks better than the photos but the missing and faded lume on the dial I think needs to be addressed.

Nice piece, congrats - I have a later example without the 666 feet on the dial but with the original fish scale/coffin link bracelet. Prices seem all over the place for these - I've seen good examples sell on hodinkee for $2700 in the past.

I think it looks great as is. Just a movement service.

Great piece, and the patina is nice and even. Mine says hello!

Yeah, it's hard to get these for less than 1500 now, and still going up, along with prices on the handwinders.

Oh, jealous about that bracelet--just have mine on a vintage Titoni president, which suits, but ain't the original criminal.

Titoni bracelet looks good! Yeah I don't think many of the originals have lasted as they are fairly flimsy with rolled links etc - I guess it shows most of them were worn regularly back in the day.

Can't believe this found an original crystal for it. Has 665 on the package so knew for sure it was correct. I think this crystal will make you see the dial better so make the dial easier to see and make it where I might not want to relume it. The old crystal been beat up some cracks and maybe a little yellowing due to age were in certain light hard to see the dial. Also, the Bulova early snorkel had the same case since 35mm

The crown looked like a replacement no C saw these 5mm crowns for waterproof and divers on eBay so bought them guess I will have a few spares. Guess when I have the watch serviced have the crystal and crown installed will at least be waterproof in rain without worry.

Oh, I would love one of these oem coffin bracelets 🥰

Picked up a bracelet that looks like yours from a eBay seller in China real slow shipping. The end links do you have to grind them down to fit or did they fit without doing anything.

Good stuff, and amazing that you got the original band!

Do you have a higher res image of the ad? Would love to save it in the archives . . .

Sadly no. Found via Google, and borrowed from a post on another forum.
