Cancelling a reply?

Ofttimes I will hit Reply unintentionally while scrolling. Is there a way to cancel it? My method so far is to delete all the quoted text so that it doesn’t carry over to an intentional reply.

Control + A then delete or if on mobile press and hold on some of the text then select all and delete is best

happened to me all the time. It’s easier to just type “yep/ true/ bruh/ agree/“ and hit send.
