Canceled Extract of Archives

Hi All,
I went on Omega website to get the extract of Archives of my 145.012.
I supplied movement number which appears to be 25.05M for me.
To my big surprise I got a declined answer from Omega arguing it does not match.
Of course they kept my 120CHF as they "searched for the extract".
Looking at the movement, would you also read 25.05M or something else?

Cheers from Paris.

Actually I don't know if the Omega guy simply typed 2505.... I provided and saw it does not match 145.012 and that's it or if he actually looked at the picture I attached...
Shall I request 2 additional extracts with 2565 and 2585 ?! 🤨

BTW, the next digit is clearly an 8 so I could, may be, probably say 256518xx...but really not sure...

To my knowledge, neither 25.051.xxx, 25.651.xxx or 25.851.xxx are in a range of caliber 321...

Interesting. 👎
25m seems to be in the range of my 145.012-67 according to various websites inc. Speedmaster101.com.
And 145.012-67 normally has caliber 321. So logically, 25m should apply caliber 321...

259518 is what I see

…but I am looking at it on my phone without my glasses. Have you looked via loupe?

For 120 euro they should be familiar with the fonts used, and check multiple numbers if needed. I would follow up and ask that they look at the attachment.

Hey why not a 9!
This is a photo I got from the movement before I get the watch from a trusted dealer. I have never opened the case since the purchase.

Time to open it and take a better macro image. I think it is an 8 by the way

I thought that too

but the third number (if it is indeed an 8), looks completely different from the sixth number ( which is clearly and categorically an 8 - small circle on top of a larger circle) - so it cant be, can it - as they would have used the same dye to punch it ?

Leaning towards a 6 now myself ( as zero has been ruled out by Omega themselves)

Yes sure, but only (to my knowledge):
25.002.000-25.009.999
25.440.000-25.449.999

we are talking on a photo which has been cropped etc. A macro focussed on the number will tell us if it is or not an 8.

Possible to get different angles of view of the serial?
Sometimes shadows change the shape of the figures.

Very precise! If this is the truth, then whatever the 3rd digit is, movement does not match...😵‍💫

I only have this picture but will go at the watchmaker and make it open to be sure.

25851 to me...

Out of curiosity: why not just open the case and see? Even if you have to go to a watchmaker, it would cost you less than a rejected extract...

edit: ok I got my answer. That is the only way you will know for sure 👍
