All of the relationship stuff I have never encountered in Australia besides Rolex

The boss of Omega Australia is a member here 😗

Tell him I'd like a Snoopy, please. 😀

Great relationship you have they marked it up over msrp lol.
Right! :whipped: I just ordered the rubber strap and foldover clasp from my local OB and was told it should arrive in ...6 to 8 weeks.

Sometimes they want to see the watch to order accessories. That was a thing with Breitling at one point. I think leather, rubber, and clasps should be able to be sourced online on the seat h group parts site, I was able to get longines parts this way but it was a few years back.

Lol are relationships needed for straps? Regardless, you can build a relationship without purchasing. Just stop by and make conversation (not just about watches). Over time, you'll talk more and more about whatever.

sigh…. That’s not how it works sadly for limited availability models at AD’s.

Probably not, but it might be a great way to find a friend. I mean they're probably interested in watches too, so it's a good match. Plus, after you get to be really good friends, then maybe they'll set aside an allocation for you.

I had this happen with my car recently- had to give them the vin to buy wiper blades (no auto parts stores had the stupid proprietary correct type so had to cave and go to the stealer). I told the dude the year and model and he said he needed the vin. I said “are you really going to make me walk back out to my car so I can buy wiper blades?” And he said “afraid so”.

Mid year changes can be a problem.
