Hi so i just got my first Omega, the white speedy.
I love the watch however i don’t really like the bracelet as its tapered too much.
Anyway im thinking to get a Nato strap for it
And i want the Omega Nato as it has the OMEGA on the keepers
But i just want to make sure before hand , what is the lenght of the omega nato strap ?
Cause i have a few of cheap nato from ebay and most of them are too short for my 8” wrists,
And also theres 2 “bond” nato on omega webpage
$170 and $370
Is the quality and the length is the same ?
From the pictures i can only see the main differences is the material of the keepers.

one last thing, my speedy has 20mm lug
So i should the the 19-20mm nato right ? Will there be any vissible springbar ?

Thank you.

Yep you need the 20mm for your Speedy. So the reason one Bond strap costs $200 more than the other, is that while both straps are identical, the Bond version has a different shaped tang buckle, and most importantly has 007 stamped on the keeper near the tang buckle. The regular one has no 007 branding. The Bond version costs a very large licensing fee on top of the cost of the strap, hence why the greatly increased price.

The hardware is also titanium on the Bond version... but the licensing is a bigger factor than the metal, titanium isn't that much more expensive than steel.

Size wise, they have a very broad range of hole locations, so they fit everything from the smallest wrists a regular length OEM Omega strap would fit, all the way to the last hole on the Omega Long-length straps, hence why there is only one size. Unless you're a Tour de France cyclist or Bruce Banner, it should fit.

I just checked two and they are both about 300mm. I also typed "how long is an omega nato strap" into google and Gemini said "300-310mm" and that there are variations depeending on model number.

I see, thank you very much 🙏🏼
Just to mention your local boutique if you have one will stock them and let you try them on in store, they’re pretty good about stuff like that and if you go in wearing an Omega they’ll want to help you out with that.

There's also the option of materials: polyamide vs. polyester...
The polyamide is like the seatbelt style weave, used in the Bond straps shown above. It has a slight sheen to it.
Polyester is a bit thinner and looks almost like a matte colored cotton/canvas material in comparison.

I got the gray "Spectre" band a few months ago and its only 285mm and too tight / the strap doesn't have enough length to loop back on my 7" wrists. Pretty annoying. Not sure why it's so short. Got it through my AD..
