Can I wear my speedmaster while cutting the grass?

The real question is whether collectors would prefer a stained cape, that's clearly had many years of use, or one that's be refurbished to remove the stains. Also, would rolex keep things like the original buttons if you sent your cape in for a service, or would they ruin it by replacing them with new but "up-to-date" buttons? Much like they did with this guy's Submariner.

As this seems to be filmed in Europe I'm sure the guy was mugged right after this interview was shot.

But I left all the original tags on the cape and kept the box and receipt…

Finally got a dry day so I took my speedy for a ride but I draw the line at mowing! Weed whacking is reserved for my Eco-Drive Cal 2100

And when you’re done cutting the grass, wear it while doing an oil/filter change! 👍

Maybe in an ool…but definitely NOT in a pool. Not too many people enjoy p in the pool. 😁

Another newbie question… since I got it, I try wearing my speedmaster as much as possible, I don’t want to baby it, but don’t want to abuse it of course. Is it okay to wear it regularly cutting the grass with a push mower in a bumpy yard? Or will the vibrations and movements mess up the internals?
Using a lawnmower should be no issue at all, just don't be using during other yardwork that involves swinging anything hard. Very similar to how a golf swing can mess up your movement with time

Can you wear your Speedmaster whilst using your left hand to beat the bishop?
If so how many times a day? After all some bishops are very naughty

My understanding is the impact golf has is specifically to the rotor of an automatic movement I.e. causes excessive wear in the rotor mechanism. This wouldn't be the case with a speedie pro as they're manual.

So to summarise the thread OP, you can wear your speedy to mow the lawn provided that, if flying you carry golf clubs and wear a cape whilst p’ing in a pool full of clergymen.

If only all of life's problems could be solved so easily.

Next.

I was thinking in the ocean to get all the salty goodness up in that Speedmaster. Plus, peeing in the ocean is totally fair game. Bonus points if you're wearing a wetsuit.

I haven't read any of the responses, so forgive me if another pedant has beaten me to the punch.

The post title really should read "May I wear my speedmaster while cutting the grass?". Because, after all, of course you can.

😁
