Wore one once having my hair cut and seemed to hold out.
Same. Just did this yesterday. Can confirm the Tintin came through no worse for wear.

I wore mine working around the house today. Bashed it a few times. Worst part is I just polywatched the plexi the other night and now it’s scuffed up again. And maybe added a couple scratches too.

Not all heroes wear capes.

Hey, if Omega sold a Cape that was 10x more expensive than another branded Cape for only a marginal and barely noticeable increase in quality, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

If Rolex made a cape, you wouldn't be able to buy one from an AD, because they'd all have gone to their "preferred customers", so you'd be forced to get one on eBay or your local Grey Market seller for at least 2-3 times the retail price. Either that, or you'd have to buy like 6 other Rolex capes, in colours and styles you hate, so you could finally be given the privilege and honour of buying the one you actually want.

I think vibranium is a better material than unobtainium. I’ll settle for ceramic though.

Same goes for the Snoopy cape. First you'd have to get a 007 cape in precious Egyptian silk before you could get the Snoopy one.

I’m still debating whether to wait two years for my Rolex cape (my AD assures me I’m on the list), or just get a Tudor scarf now.

I'd be pissed if my cape got grass stains on it.

I wouldn’t do it if you want to have the cape as an investment as the stains would hurt the resale value.

The real question is whether collectors would prefer a stained cape, that's clearly had many years of use, or one that's be refurbished to remove the stains. Also, would rolex keep things like the original buttons if you sent your cape in for a service, or would they ruin it by replacing them with new but "up-to-date" buttons? Much like they did with this guy's Submariner.
