Yea cut the guy some slack. Better safe than sorry. Also, it’s always fun to play the NASA card (which I did first). But the fact of the matter is those guys broke a lot of watches.
Another newbie question… since I got it, I try wearing my speedmaster as much as possible, I don’t want to baby it, but don’t want to abuse it of course. Is it okay to wear it regularly cutting the grass with a push mower in a bumpy yard? Or will the vibrations and movements mess up the internals?
Ahh Now I understand all the weird Speedmaster treads; No, I cant cut the grass, do the dishes change diapers, etc. But I can travel in space if you like!

My beater:
I spent enough that I'm not taking it off just to mow the lawn. In the scheme of things, mowing the lawn is not even on my radar of things that might damage or scratch my watch. Unless I flip the ride-on or fall down a hill and the pusher tumbles on to me, I guess. I consider removing it if my hand doesn't fit into whatever hole I'm reaching into.
