Can anyone identify this watch?

I'm looking for an inexpensive black military dial watch but want something quality. It's hard to tell who the manufacturer is for this. Does anyone recognize who might have made it?

Good question. I guess no one. I'm new at collecting and wanted to tap the collective knowledge of those in this group. I guess I'm not looking necessarily for a military watch as I've already got a Vietnam era Benrus but rather wanted a 24 hour military style dial that's inexpensive but older that I can wear regularly without worrying about damaging it.

Thank you. That's good to know. The seller appears not to deal in watches as a regular thing so I'm sending him a message to see what more I can learn. Thanks!!!

Kind of strange, having no seconds hand at all. Could possibly be a cheap pin lever job with only 3 jewels or so. If that were the case it would not fit your criteria for a good mechanical watch.

The seconds post is there. My guess is that someone has pulled a Benrus from the military issue plastic case.

Seller said dial was marked 3065 and swiss. Clearly some type of frankenwatch...

Just because you don't recognize it doesn't mean it wasn't assembled by a legitimate watch company.

True but best resale would come if it were a watch that is recognizable. Please buy it and show us a pic of what's inside.

Since I don't care I respectfully pass on this responsibility to one more qualified.
