I’ve recently serviced my vintage omega watch and I can’t seem to properly identify it. I’ve found many similar dials but none exactly like this one. Is the watch legit? The movement picture is a little blurry because it was taken when it was being serviced, but from what i can gather the serial number is 11746551 and the cal. Is 265.

sorry to rain on the parade
when a movement looks so tired and the dial shows no aging - guess what...
this dial has been repainted, unfortunately

I agree with both of the knowledgeable members above. Repainted dial, movement in poor condition, probably a ref 2639. A nice reference, but in its current condition, a watch I would avoid.

Not all models have names

DON

And if they do, at least the ones I'm familiar with, they usually have names like Candy. Tiffany, Jade, Amber, etc. 😁

So the conclusion is that the model of the watch is stamped inside the case back..reference number..and not all the Omega watches are called "seamaster" "speedmaster" etc..

Wait until you learn about the so called "american cased omega's"
I never did get an answer in another thread so I gather there are no real guides to the Ross and Wadsworth indexes. The actual watches look like the swiss ones until opened.
