Β·My thought is generally fairly simple: If the occasion is more formal, I'll wear a watch without an external bezel. My Carrera 2447N looks great under a suit, even though it's a chronograph.
However, for overall versatility and fun-to-wear-factor, nothing beats a vintage Speedmaster Pro on an original-vintage stretch-link bracelet.

First time I shook hands with somebody who was basically a point on the horizon π ... and that means a lot, b/c to be honest, I was quite surprised how tall he is (seemed to be just shy of 2mts π)
