Walmart aisle 3 bay 22 here in North Texas seems to have dozens.

Eventually one will pop up online, be prepared to pay up. Good luck and post the rest of that pw when you can.

Here's a double marked private label 18s Illinois grade 64 circa 1901. Also a Model 6, also an open "4".
This is the retailer located close enough to the RR station to order the Pennsylvania Special pw's.

Grade 974 had you covered if you didn’t need RR grade in your job.
Bus, InterUrban Trolley, ect
Circa 1922.

I can't help but notice that your regulator is on the wrong side of its spring.

I love that dial.

The 974 is such a great watch, a real workhorse. I don't own one but one day I'll, at least, have a 2974B.

Speaking of going crazy, I started the hunt for one of these dials, should anyone have a lead.😬

Anyone know if a Ball-Hamilton dial will fit a Ball-Illinois?

I'll probably have a better chance of finding a parts Ball-Hamilton.

As I see it, the Hamilton company would have had to drop production of Illinois movements after the acquisition, substituting Hamilton movements marked as Illinois movements. I think that would be the only way dials would interchange. What were the chances?

I concur, the Ball-Illinois and Ball-Hamilton watches are based on totally different watches.

Since I wore my 950B yesterday, I decided to wear my 992B today, and represent the rest of my B team.

Is your Waltham an Ohara model? It is a very beautiful colourful dial. I see very few of these up this way.

I get Street Cred when I wear this one while runnin’ my ho’s Saturday nights in Deep Ellum.

Even with the damage that is one beautiful dial.
