Cal 565 Manual Winding Problem

I’ve recently purchased a 1969 Geneve Cal 565 auto, had it serviced but if when I manual wind it is stiff and turning the rotor! Got other cal 500 series Omegas and they don’t do this. Can’t seem to find this problem via google etc. New to the forum and would appreciate some expert held. Thanks

Fault in the winding wheel most likely. Take it back to your watchmaker.

Thanks Al, I’ve already had it back once and still not fixed. Used him for years on Omegas without any problems, but now he is on holiday. If it’s a worn part then I’d rather get it and he will replace, parts are in short supply so need to source. Any additional information appreciated. Regards

If your watchmaker has a parts account, these parts are readily available, but only on an exchange basis as they are remanufactured.
