I am not loyal to any one brand name of watch. I purchase watches that interest me chronometers, chronographs, divers, sport and dress watches, pocket watches. My collection ranges from makers with names from A to Z. I never sold a watch but traded many to gain ones that I wanted to add to my collection. My best guess is that I am an accumulator of items that interest me. I have other interests and I collect more than just watches.

Pocket watches? Counts are approximate. 15 Hamiltons, 10 Walthams, 6 Illinois, 5 Elgins, 6 Howards (including an E Howard), 2 Brandt CCR railroad watches (early Omegas), 1 Omega dress model, 1 English key winder, 1Ball 999 (Hamilton Ball), 1 Hampden, 1 Ingersoll Yankee (circa 1910. It runs!), and one or two other assorted anonymous ones. All these in addition to the wrist watches I listed earlier, and of course, clocks.

Hi all,

I started it out with an Omega Seamaster DeVille ca. 1965 in 2000 and it went downhill from there so to speak..;-)...

I bought and sold over 100 watches since then. I had four distinct periods. Firstly, all over the place with dive, chronos, time only watches. Then I started to focus on Vintage Omega and Rolex. When the Rolex hobby got too nutty I started looking at other brands. Over the last 3 years my focus is chronographs. Vintage military and complicated watches where the object of my desires. I do have a couple of divers. from the youngest to the oldest.

1- Omega Speedmaster Moonphase
2- IWC Doppelchronograph ref 3711
3- Rolex Submariner ref 16800 - Matte dial
4- Seiko 5 ca. 70s
5- Enicar Sherpa-Graph - Valjoux 72
6- Rodania RCAF issued mono-pusher chrono - Venus 175
7- Airain Type XX - V 222 flyback
8- Auricoste Type XX - Lemania 2040 flyback
9- Rodania Geometer - Valjoux 72
10- Tutima Fliegerchronograph - Urofa 59 flyback

Cheers,
