Buying off sites like Chrono24

I’ve bought 2 watches on c24, both modern/new. I’d shopped around and the prices were good and so was my experience. I did find there is only limited or no appetite for haggling from the dealers. I agree though a lot of the inventory is overpriced particularly on vintage watches, and descriptions and photos generally poor. For a new watch that’s less of a problem but for vintage that’s not the case. Trying to get better photos or descriptions from the dealers is hit and miss

I bought the Apollo11 50th from C24, and the dealer sent me pictures of the actual watch, answered every question and I had it in my hands in 1 week. And that’s after sitting in customs for 3 days!!
