You will never find such kind of deal for a connie. At least for the next months.. If you like the aesthetics just grab it, And leave it alone. Just service and a little cleaning of case and bracelet with ultrasonic...
Do you know If that is the original crown for this particular watch?

I am not sure my friend. Usually the constellations had the decagonal crown, but I have also seen many original examples with this kind of crown. You should check the reference of the back case and check the omega database or ask here what this model crown is.

My final note before you buy this connie is to be sure that you like the watch. If resale and profit is on your mind..., I would not take the chance. If it is a keeper then there's no problem.

Crown is not original. If it is Omega signed and fits properly, I’d leave it alone.

Omega has a crown to fit the 14902/168.005 cases (they are the same case, the numbering system changed around 1963), but they are nothing like the original thin 10-sided crowns.

Don't polish the case. You will be sorry in the future.

Now, mind you, your watchmaker might be a wizard with a buffer,

But I had a CMW take a nice case and buff it into YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME?! His response? "Send it back, stainless steel is like butter, we can make it right". NO.

I replaced the case.

and sold it to a sow who ripped me off, but another story.

You can hand-finish the case yourself.

Spotted/stained dial, wrong crown, in need of a service and with maybe a date wheel that has water damage/missing numbers ( see the 8 in 18 ), to me this one is a big pass. Keep your money in your pocket and save some more for a good one.

Cannot be more correct .
