Dont think this has been written in this thread before, but with respect to your solid gold watch, the only way you could get more information on it is to apply for an extract of the archives From Omega

i have 4 EoA now -2 for Speedies and 2 for 18 solId gold Connies - lots of threads on the “value” of an EoA on this forum, but for me it solved 2 mysteries for my Connies

one confirmed my 168.005 dog leg pie pan was 18k solid rose gold (that was delivered to Angola in 1966),

and the second EoA confirmed my 14381 lyre lug pie pan was delivered to Ireland in 1962 - and this Finally explained what the mysterious hallmarks were that were stamped on the caseback (on the medallion, of all places) - they were Irish import marks ( the lady with a harp ( Hibernia symbol) and U for date year 1962, plus 2 others for 18 and 750)

so for me, the EoAs were well worth the value
Really cool that this is a possibility! Thank you😀

Nice catch, Investigator worthy! Especially the Ebay link, it's says ref. 162.0071. Do you think it's the same, because that ref is not on the certificate. Unfortunately I won't be able to see the inside. It's on a auction this Wednesday.

Similar question, found this Deville in online auction. I can’t find reference to 111.098 on omegas site but see others listed with same ref in other places (https://www.truefacet.com/men-s-ome...8-manual-wind-c-1970s-swiss-vintage-al24.html).

Has the right movement I believe in a calibre 620 but have concerns. Current asking price is only $70, but seems like a too good to be true.

appreciate the advice for a newbie

That looks like a woman's watch to me, the cal 620 Is very small.
