Morning all,

I was in central London on Friday, and as I was passing through the Burlington Arcade, I stopped

Enjoy! Cheers

I always enjoy window shopping there whenever I’m in town. I’ve never been brave enough to ask what prices they are charging for their pieces, but you can bet they’ll be high…

… I asked, and it was really good news if you already owned the model you were asking about but less so if you were looking to buy …. 😉

Please let us know!....I fancy a laugh over my Sunday morning coffee and it's not too early in the day for a bit of ticket price shaming is it? 😁

I enquired about a c case constellation 168.029 a year or so ago. It was a nice piece, didn’t have the original crystal, and they wanted circa £2k, a bit more if I remember correctly.

I decided to play the waiting game and wait for one to pop up on here, which would probably be better quality and better value! Still looking 😁

It’s both a tourist trap and an affluent shopping area where people who are aware a new Omega costs £4+k and Rolexes command well into the teens will think prices are perfectly reasonable.

It's also near the hedge fund area and they get a lot of international buyers in there too. Patek, Rolex, JLC, Cartier etc etc boutiques are not far away from there. That's should tell who who their desired clientele is...

Their prices are … not a match for the condition …
Not condition- patina’d cred. When you walk back into your hedge fund meeting you can say “this old thing- pshaw, I’ve had it for years”

I really love this boutique and almost purchased a Fat Arrow last time I was in town. But yes, their prices certainly reflect an overhead premium.

What’s funny is I saw that display and thought- meh, I see far better examples of these right here- regularly.

All prices are available on their website (https://www.somlo.com/collections/omega) and are as subsequent posters have suggested. They do state they are the "only Official OMEGA Vintage store in the world" so there's that...
