LED driver watch has to be on a Bulova Collectors list.

And a diver

or two

and a quirky styled one

and a Military one

then a recent one

or two

Great collection. Also have the "other Moonwatch" from Bulova.

I think the perception of Bulova as a brand suffers due to how ownership bounced around for so many years, and how there are American made Bulova, Swiss made, Japanese made, etc. I'd love to have an Accutron Space View - always have loved them. Another interesting one is the Bulova "Royal Oak", which was rumored to have pre-dated the AP Royal Oak, but this is apocryphal and likely not true at all.

Vintage Bulova has always been above average across the board for build quality. The high production numbers keep the resale lower that some of the counterparts. The beauty of collecting them is the availability of parts. Many cheap "donor watches" carry the same parts that I need for the quirky more valuable examples.

@gatorcpa - that price made me go searching for something similar - will have to wait for this one to arrive and see whether those scratches can be buffed out of the crystal! (And yes it was relatively cheap too...apart from the missing lume plot :> )

That's why they call me "The Enabler".

Hi All- I am new to the forum and just jumping in randomly.. I recently just purchased a Minty early 60s super compressor and it has been taking tons of wrist time. I think it they are becoming more collectible as of late, but in this instance it doesn't matter to me as I think it's just a gorgeous watch!!

Think big, flair collared shirts, huge bellbottoms and platform shoes, baby! And gold chains to here.....perfect ensemble with the pinkie ring.

On second thought, don't think any of that, it was a tough decade on many levels.

I was there. The things we did for the opposite sex! Including disco. I drink to forget!

So adding this Spaceview Homage to the gallery. Purchased in a weak moment after being ripped off on E-Bay with a franken spaceview. I honestly don't know what to do with it.

Someday I will need to get myself an Astronaut.

There appears to be pretty good selection at the moment, though I can't speak to availability.

Here's mine from the 30's. Inherited it from my grandparent.

Looks big but it's on my 11 year old daughters wrist 😀

This post made me want to buy one.
Especially the Seville date, similar to the DJ.
If I find a good one, you might see a lost in WRUW 😁
