BULOVA + MOON + UG Space Compax

Gentlemen,

i always wondered where the name of the SPACE COMPAX has its roots - now i have read the most interesting story about the Bulova Moon watch, sold yesterday at Auction.

And hey: same Reference number than the Space Compax, nearly the same serial number, same engraving, case and crown very similar to the UG !! What is the story behind? Did UG make watches for Bulova at this time, did they cooperate very close? Is this the 'key' for explaining the name of the Space Compax?

I thought that Bulova always had their own watches - and even after buying UG !! But now i read an article, which explains a lot:

This means that the Bulova on Moon was for sure an UG !!
