For sale is my Bulova 666 Snorkel dive watch, daring from the mid 1960s. This is a reluctant sale, I’ve recently acquired another watch and promised my wife I would operate a “one-in one-out” policy, this is the one selected to go.
The good:
- The watch is is good condition, and comes with its original box, the only box I’ve ever seen.
- The lume on the dial has aged a wonderful cream colour
- Case looks good to me, bezel rotates freely
The bad:
- Case back has some scratches from inexpert opening (not me)
- Typical wear signs and some scratches on bezel. The paint on the numbers on the bezel have faded
- Service history unknown and not serviced by me. Even though it keeps good time as far as I can determine, I would recommend a service at some point.
The Price & T&Cs:
- I and pricing this near what it cost me £700 OBRO
- The price includes insured shipping in the UK and EU - my preference is to use UPS tracked and insured Express
- For ROW, I'm willing to split costs, using UPS tracked and insured, I can let you know the price, and we can discuss further. You are responsible for customs/import taxes etc your end
- I will accept returns if you decide you don't like it when you see it, however return costs are at buyers expense.
- For US buyers, I am planning to be in NYC at some point in June, if it is helpful I can bring it with me
