Brushed watches and scratches

I know scratches are part of the game, and I gladly wear my new Railmaster in all sorts of settings, but I can't help but notice how easily this brushed bezel gets scratched. I have watches 4-5 years old that take much more abuse and don't nearly have as many micro scratches everywhere. Is this something typical to Omega steel ?

Nope! Omega uses the same steel as many other watchmakers- 316L stainless. You might be more sensitive to these scratches because of the slanted/domed nature of your bezel. Honestly, I think that looks great- let time do some more work and it will look just like it should.

Watches with big plain bezels are always scratch magnets.
