I just got my Seamaster back after having the center links brushed. I think it looks much better than when they were polished.

I'm not a huge fan of modifying a watch (albeit just the bracelet) but I agree that it does look better with an all brushed finish.

Mine is brushed as well which fits the look for me. I am surprised but I do see many Seamasters with brushed bracelets as opposed to polished center links version.

Looks good! The SM300MC Spectre did come with a brushed bracelet so there’s nothing wrong in customizing yours. After the warranty period, I’d probably get a lollipop seconds hand if I owned one.

I am personally a fan of PCLs on this watch because I think it works better overall with the watch head, that said, I’d be happy either way. It’s just such a nice piece. Looks great!

All for the change! Did you polish through Omega, or a third party?

    Congrats on a beautiful watch!

I purchased a cheap 1610 bracelet off ebay. It was all scratched up, so I decided to refinish it, leaving the polished links brushed. It gives the bracelet a more toolish look. It also makes my 2531.80 look more toolish compared to the bond bracelet :)

I had it brushed through a third party. I know a guy who knows a guy...

It's all a matter of taste and what you find attractive. I've got a 2255.80, and in my opinion, the mix of brushed and polished elements of the bracelet carries on the balance and continuity with the brushed and polished elements of the head.

That looks sensational! A better match for this version of the watch, IMO. I have the co-axial version which adopted the applied markers and Omega logo for the first time, making the watch dressier to begin with, and far better suited for the polished accents on the bracelet.

Great thread!....one of the few things that prevent d me from getting the Seamaster 300 MC was the PCLs.
Can you please post some additional photos in daylight?

Agreed, the brushed looks much better imo and it looks to be a decent job - polished centre links tend to mark much easier

    My PCL's didn't last a week.
