30's 40's and 50's Breitling

Late 30's came first, unknown till 40x and getting the light just right then a bit of photoshop revealed Origin.

Then the 1940's Chronomat

Here's the thread on this one:

And now, back from a service(arrived needing a new 4th wheel) a 1958 AOPA ref 806 NaviTimer

From Kurt Brondum's excellent site, it's a series 1 with mkII hands.

WOG on movement so imported into US by Wakmann.

Years ago I bought this 22mm NOS KestenMade bracelet, so why not use it?

These are to be found, just not so much in this condition, in and out. My watchmaker manually cleaned the outer track/giltWings
Before

After
Unpolished case

Nifty Crown

Group Shots

Happy to have waited for just the right one馃榾

And happy to add to the Forum as others before me have done for inspiration and guidance.

That's quite an amazing triplet, and the Navitimer is extra special. Now you need an airplane to go with it.

Love the all black Navitimer. I had one, sold it....but it's for sure back on the 'need one again' high priority list.
