I am putting up for sale this unique Breitling AVI 765 c.1964 Breitling at what I believe is under current selling prices and not asking prices (if you know different please DM me). Even with that in mind, I am open to fair offers. Priced to move quickly and if you don’t think so then feel free to make me an offer - I am all ears...

I don't believe there is better example out there at this price point. I certainly cannot find one.

The watch is powered by a manual wind chronograph Venus cal 178. The chronograph functions nicely with a crisp start/stop & clean reset to 0. Accurate time keeper. Natural wrist polishing of the case back for the years

serviced by previous owner. Lume on hands and dial plots restored with Zns by Lewis Watch Co; a couple of small blemishes on the dial - please see photos. Difficult to see unless you are looking for them.

41mm diameter, 22 lug size with a rotating 12h steel bezel.

Negotiated price with ΩF buyer c. USD8250 including insured shipping anywhere with DHL.

For international buyers, payment through WISE, REVOLUT or direct wire transfer

Multi references here and elsewhere and I am more than happy to provide links to these

Contact me with any questions.

ps. It's come to my attention the AVI came with a stainless steel bezel from introduction until the transition to the AVI-CP in 1965. It was pointed out by a longtime collector that in 1965 the black anodised aluminium bezel was also offered as a factory option on order (he had in fact seen these orders in his research) during the transition to the AVI-CP until 1969. Not that it's a game changer but I want you to know everything I know about the watch.

Love the ghosting bezel John. You know, if this was listed just a month ago, I would be all over it…

Thanks, Harry, and you know if I wasn't having a fire sale to get the funds for that certain speedy grail I'd be keeping it for sure.

Damn! Right down my alley. A dream chrono that rarely comes up for sale.
