··I might rise, but I refuse to shine.I am putting up for sale this unique Breitling AVI 765 c.1964 Breitling at what I believe is under current selling prices and not asking prices (if you know different please DM me). I don't believe there is better example out there at this price point. I certainly cannot find one.
The watch is powered by a manual wind chronograph Venus cal 178. The chronograph functions nicely with a crisp start/stop & clean reset to 0. Accurate time keeper. Natural wrist polishing of the case back for the years
serviced by previous owner. Lume on hands and dial plots restored with Zns by Lewis Watch Co; a couple of small blemishes on the dial - please see photos. Difficult to see unless you are looking for them.
41mm diameter, 22 lug size with a rotating 12h steel bezel.

ps. It's come to my attention the AVI came with a stainless steel bezel from introduction until the transition to the AVI-CP in 1965. It was pointed out by a longtime collector that in 1965 the black anodised aluminium bezel was also offered as a factory option on order (he had in fact seen these orders in his research) during the transition to the AVI-CP until 1969. Not that it's a game changer but I want you to know everything I know about the watch.
