Yes. 98000409. With vintage buckle.
I amended my post after. If you get any time at all, would you mind posting a wrist shot? Just to keep me going 😁

Nice FOIS. 😜

::stirthepot::

I have to admit that I'm almost rediscovering my Ed White with the nice weather we've had here over the last few days. That is what happens when you get a new watch during winter, you have to wait till Spring to see it under sunlight.

Here is the solution. Kudos to you for great guesses! 😉 Common Moonwatch is represented here with the “Patch” 50th Speedmaster Anniversary. This one was too hard to guess. And to those with ADHD sorry for not resetting the second hand 😀

This picture was taken after the experiment so the lume is still glowing a bit therefore the hands color is slightly different here.

wow....that...is...something special. thx

Well, it arrived today and it’s absolutely marvellous. Has totally exceeded my expectations.

I’ll admit that since having paid I did have a couple of doubts having bought without handling, but that was gone as soon as I opened it and strapped on wrist.

to answer a couple of questions that have come from other threads.

the bracelet is exactly the same as that on the Apollo 11 (19 v 20mm aside). The links are the same thickness as is the width of the centre brushed link.

the ceramic bezel makes it for me and along with the enamel tachy scale gives it a certain presence. The movement is lovely to behold also.

I won’t tell you everything you already know, but suffice to say I’m delighted with it. Value is subjective, but this ticks every box for me and looks so much better in the metal than in photos.

I need a link taken out as I must have overegged the size of my wrist, but aside from that it’s perfect and I’ll Chuck it on a strap for the weekend until I pluck up the bottle to re-size.

a few obligatory pics (sorry for the poor quality)

Oh and I should add - the milky ring is completely gone. The Apollo 11 has it. This has nothing at all. A huge improvement.

Congratulations!!!

It is a special watch in person. I think most folks who are skeptics of the pricing will change their mind once they handle one. The movement for looks fantastic.

Agreed - it’s a special piece. But the good news is that there’s one for all camps - so it’s all good

Congratulations Steve! The bezel is stunning, isn’t it! Not the first thing you’d think of with this watch but it really sets it off.

It sure does. I’m also considering wearing it upside down to admire the movement.

A quick pic showing the milky ring difference. Quite prevalent on the Apollo (never bothered me). Practically non existent on the 321
