If you don't mind me asking, where is this live-picture originating from?

Cheers,

Yikes. If that’s more representative of how it looks, I’m out...

Edit: however...is this really an accurate shot? All other pictures shows darker luminous. Which makes quite a difference in the presentation. The crown is obnoxiously shiny though...

As I’ve said many times, this is the SS 321 Omega should have offered. Current case, onyx dial, sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, white gold indices on a croc. strap with a deployant clasp. Perfection!

As was the case with the ck2998, it looks a whole lot better in the fancy renders than in reality (in my opinion and also keeping the asking price in mind) The platinum 321 got an interesting new dial, this design feels uninspired to me...
T4S - it's always great to see non-marketing photos. Having said that, LewisWatchCo's photo is (also) not representative of the watch in the real-world, 3D, dynamic environment. Let me take the photo... with my Smartphone. You may just get re-inspired... 😁

Don't worry about asking - everyone should anyway follow best practice and REPOST WITH CREDIT - it's good etiquette 😉

No it is not. Not if you consider proper color matching, etc. You can take any watch and make it look like a million bucks or boring as heck based simply on the angle of the shot, lighting, "mood" and so on 👍

FWIW, today's wristshot; had I rotated my wrist a few more degrees, the applied logo would've faded into the shadows...

It's not a great photo - it's easy to overexpose lume and make it look bright white when it's not.

AU$21,450 - ouch

*edit - hadn't looked at the speedmaster101 price guide in a very long while.
US$16,000 for a "Good" 105.003-63/64/65 (head only).
Not my game anymore; vintage or modern.

When did Omega update the page? “Available in stores from July 2020.”

Good catch! Seems to be a recent update. Question will be: how many and where ;-)!

Good morning! Nice catch! Did it read June or Summer 2020 before?

Here is a live image (see lewiswatchco on instagram). The watchmaker ordered the dial, hands and case from Omega. It looks different than in the renders. Dial wise they got more creative on the platinum 321 watch.

I tried my best to take a more accurate image. Just got it on Tuesday 👍

Sorry for my persistence here, but can you enlighten us? This is a "Replica based on real parts" with an old 321 movement that LewisWatchCo built for you? Or the actual thing?

Not a problem. It’s not the actual, new 321 watch. This watch was built with an old 321 movement using the display back case, crown, ceramic bezel, dial, and hands from the new 321. The case was modified with a sapphire to hesalite conversion (and pressure tested). Basically, everything I ever wanted 😀

Thanks a lot, this is an interesting endeavor. Surprised that Omega makes all these parts available before the actual launch...
It looks very good - could you share some more pictures, also from the back etc.? Some angle shots?

The bracelet is not available or do you anyways prefer to but it on the Nato?

Thanks - but that's exactly why I asked. I am aware of the new Steel 321 model which is supposed to be available at OBs/ADs from July.

The actual watch pictured above is not the new Omega release but a build-up using (original spare) parts of the new 321 (sourced by a watchmaker) and an old 321 movement. So if you want it is kind of a "Frankenwatch", but a good one I'd say. Optically no difference, at least from the front.

Cheers,
Fabian
