Some great pics there. I called quite a few places, 2 of whom are going to call me back. Think they will be sold out but fingers crossed.

I was hoping that I wouldn’t like it, but as is so often the way with Omega products, it was much better in the metal than in online photos.

Thanks for the review.
Having put down a deposit back in March, I was not too thrilled when I saw the 9 o'clock subdial.
But the rest of the watch makes up for it so I kept my order. The more pictures I see, the more I like the watch.
Now that subdial image doesn't bother me anymore, and I can't wait to get the piece.

In London UK Omega will not accept deposit, only name on waiting list with no guarantee. Lucky for those places accepting deposits

That is because as I have mentioned previously, under English law acceptance of a deposit deems the seller to have entered into an agreement to supply. If they fail to do so they can be sued, especially if the item in question gains value. At least one UK Porsche dealer has been burned this way with a GT3 RS or 911R (I can't recall which exactly) when they ignored the wait list and sold it out the back door to a higher bidder. I believe they were sued and lost and damages ensued, or at least hefty court fees.

Great comparison. It must be said though, both watches seem to have a pretty visible milky ring. Could just be the photo, but it has been said elsewhere on there that recent Sapphire Sandwich crystals seem boxier than earlier examples and as such give a more notable ring. Lets hope it's the photo and this is less of an issue in the flesh.

The last thing anyone needs is a milky ring.😉

There’s 2 boutiques in Manc I think. One said they had none left. The other said they are having an opening evening in 2-3 weeks (I forget the date) and that all orders would be took on that evening or after that date.

And that is against UK law as already discussed.
Against the law to reserve a product? It might be unwise if they can’t supply what they’ve said they will but I’m sure it’s not against the law to reserve a product or pay a deposit for something.

Not against the law if they are able to supply, it’s where there is uncertainty over supply they need to be careful before taking money. I too have been invited to an intro evening soon. They are showing lots of new stuff, not just the ‘Moon’ watch.
