As for the misprint on the dial, well good luck getting the to admit they stuffed up in writing.....how very unswiss that would be!
They are neutral. I imagine they would buckle under the pressure of a Demand and give the Demander whatever they wanted to get them to go away and leave them be.

...or not.

Oh I've worked with the Swiss they would be very nice and apologetic about it and not to mention very embarrassed and absolutely horrified, indeed they would want to fix it ASAP, but what they won't do is put their stuff up in print to haunt them and torment their perfectionist sensibilities forever more.

Probably so but compared to their usual glacial pace that is quick!
After all no one person will be able to make a decision, it will have to be thoroughly investigated, reports made and in order to do that, a great many emails will have be composed and replied to, before a course of action can be agreed upon, then have approval signed off by all the layered strata of management before any action is taken.

I find it funny, but if I had to buy a second-hand one I would take the one without defects, so it all depends on whether you want to keep it for a long time or not

Funny, this is exactly what is happening. My AD contacted head of sales for Europe and she immediately took action and then head of support also contacted me and they are now investigating internally, whatever this means.

Within a couple weeks they should exchange it for a new one.
