I have both and a digital calipers. What exact measurements do you need?

Thickness of links:
Forstner - 3.0mm
50th - 2.5mm

Width at the replaceable links:
Forstner - 16mm
50th - 15mm

Much appreciated, that's exactly what I wanted to know.

The current SM300 heritage bracelet links are ~3mm thick at the case and taper to ~2.8mm near the clasp so this forstner is a bit like that in thickness.

Thanks again!

My 2254.50 is still on the 1610/930. Meanwhile, I've purchased a Forstner Contemporary Flat-Link and Forstner 1450 for my green Seamaster.

There's something about the 2254 I may not be able to resist for much longer.

Don't tell @hen though!

Do it. It may not have the cachet or vaunted history of the a Submariner, but it's every bit as good. It's more Submariner than the Submariner is, in its time to a lesser extent and moreso now. That era Submariner -early 2000s - is kind of the last gasp to me and I don't think it's fared as well as the Seamaster Pro has moving upmarket.

Yeah, I feel pretty strongly that the 2254.50 is almost the perfect representation of the SMP line. It's a great watch.

Agree with your thoughts on that era sub as well. I generally don't like how Rolexes are perceived by others, but really like the 2 liner 14060Ms.

Gosh, if only the 2254.50 had a no-date option this would be an absolute no-brainer.

They are a great watch. I think they still can be found at a pretty decent price, too. Maybe that's because there's a lot of them made.

I want a P, K, or Y serial year 2000-2002 16610 with a hole's case and Super-Luminova. This is to replace a long since sold Submariner I bought in Singapore in 2006.

At least the 2254.50 has a small bit of lume outboard the date window. The lume-hole can be annoying.
