Hi guys

I am looking for a new bracelet for my Seamaster Cosmic as my old one is on its way out. But this proofs harder than I thought, as there is little on the internet and in my local watchshops. Also if there is one it is very expensive. I found this one (1069/137) (see picture on the top) for 250 Swiss Francs. But it is already rather loose. Therefore I wanted to ask for your guys opinion on it.
Is it normal that there is little to find? Is the "play" that the bracelet has normal because of the age and I most probably won‘t find another with less? Or do you recommend rather to buy a cheaper newer strap that fits (there is very little because of the way it is mounted to the watch) and replace the clasp (my fear is that it won‘t look the part)? Do you even have a tip for me on where to search?

Edit: Updated with picture of the watch and current bracelet (1118/123) and serial number of bracelet (1069/137)
which I am looking at.

Add some pictures of your watch and the current bracelet so people know what they’re looking at.

The most common places are the parts for sale section here and eBay.

Thank you for the reply and advice. Did update my post with pictures of my watch and current bracelet. It sadly is rusty and does not hold together anymore which is why it is not attached to the watch.

Which elements are rusty? The links are generally very robust on these and it’s the pins or Endlinks that can break after decades. Perhaps a refurb of your existing bracelet is an option

Thank you for the reply. Pins and Endlinks are fine.
The replacements parts are rusty and can not be removed. Which is in it self a problem because I can not shorten the bracelet and need to as it is too big. Also the pins which hold the links together are not solid anymore. It once fell completely apart on a solid link. Don‘t know if that can be refurbished?
Where can a refurbishment be done at a Omega Dealership or are there specialists?

I use an elderly one-man jeweller to fix my bracelet. He’s a jeweller not a watch repairer but has the knowledge, experience and equipment (and contacts) to remake, restore, drill out etc.

No use to you unless you’re in NW London but there’ll be someone like that near you.
