Sorry for my question but I tried to do a search but cant find an answer..

Will the new Steel bracelet from the current Speedmaster fit the older 145.022? or it will fit only the newer ones?

thank you

Technically it will fit but the end links will stick out a little and also keep in mind that the service replacement bracelets endlinks for these are usually a touch wider to compensate for the wear on the case.

What I mean is, new speedmaster bracelets fitted to an old watch may exhibit some gaps

A service replacement end link set are ever so slightly wider which the watch maker will file in the unusual case where the lugs haven’t worn over 20+ years.

You can still get the modern version of the 1171 bracelet from Omega boutiques (under $500 if I recall), which would work better on an older Speedmaster. I'm personally not a fan of the hollow end links which make it "clinky" to wear. Or of course you could look for the older style bracelets for sale, but those can be pretty pricey. Probably $600-$800 for a 1479 and $1500-$2000 for a 1450.
