Not all 1039’s had a date stamp. I believe the general consensus is these were bracelets made late in the production run and/or for service replacement.

It all depends on the overall condition, not the date stamp. If the bracelet is full length and in good shape (i.e., minimal to no stretch, all spring links functional, unpolished), it will command a higher value than a dated bracelet in poorer condition. Additionally, if this particular 145.022-71 falls within the 32.84X.XXX serial range, the bracelet is most likely original to the watch. This batch of -71s was actually produced in 1974, and those delivered with 1039 bracelets had no date on the buckle.
