Bracelet ID

I picked up a speedsonic 188.002 and it had this 1159 bracelet on it. There is a little 31 in a circle. The end links have no stamp on them but both exactly measure 21.7mm, so its for a 22mm watch. Somebody told me it should go on a flightmaster. Is that the right model, and are my end links generic ones or did they sometimes come without a stamp?

I have seen endlinks without stamps before, but have not been able to confirm if they are original. I would say they are aftermarket replacements (but could be mistaken)

The endlinks I would expect to be 22mm on a 1159 bracelet are the 155s (The Flightmaster Endlinks) or 549 which was on ref 145.007/145.008

For the sake of completeness, there are also 20mm endlinks for this bracelet, reference 154, which came on the Speedmaster Mk2 and Memomatic and Soccer Timer

Is the circle 31 a clasp ID code? So my understanding is 1159 is the bracelet style, then 31 is the clasp code. On ebay I see clasp ID "30" on the ones I have seen.

I know it has been mooted on other bracelets that the circled number relates to the endlink number. Clearly this is not the case here as I have never seen a 31 endlink.

I know that it has also been suggested that it is simply an internal referencing tooling number, but I am also unconvinced by this, as I have seen a very large amount of 11/12/30s, but no 1 or 2 in a circle.

It could perhaps be a internal code for the bracelet? But that wouldn't explain how there would be varying numbers on the same reference.

Im not sure if anyone really knows

I cant find the 188.0002 on the table, It has been a long day, would you mind letting me know what page it is on?

Having studied speedsonics, the 1162/172 is the proper bracelet for the stainless model. You do see a lot of mix and match of omega bracelets on that watch which is why I ended up with an 1159 on mine since its a 22mm lug case. I'm not sure if the other one listed below goes to the 14KGF speedsonic.

I think you are right and the other bracelet appears to only be in Gold
