Bracelet has different serial to watch case

I've only just noticed my bracelet has a different serial number to my case. Does this mean the bracelet has been replaced at some point, only I assumed they would match...

Any advice greatly appreciated. Tia

It may depend on the watch/bracelet you’re referring to (add some photos when you get a chance) but most bracelets are not specifically paired with an individual watch.

You are confusing the bracelet reference number with a serial number. Bracelets do not have a serial number on them. Only the movement and case have serial numbers on them. This is because bracelets are considered replaceable items.

Phew I just worried for a min! Now I see that the numbers on the bracelet has a / in it, whereas case doesn't 👍

I left myself an out incase there was some special edition Omega out there where they actually had the bracelet and case linked with a serial number 😉
