I can totally understand that! When such a complete set appears and the watch is in good shape too, you've got to pull the trigger quickly these days.

路Well, not an Omega but a lowly Tag! My wife bought this for my birthday at Heathrow as we were catching a plane to go on a Carribean cruise. Note the date. As we came out of the shop the airport went quiet for the two minutes silence. How could I ever possibly forget the time and date of that purchase?

A near NOS 145.012-67 that I just purchased form the grandson of the original owner.
Even has the original hand tag with matching movement serial number, and half of the original Omega wax seal on the case/caseback!

路Near NOS, I know it's used a lot but either one thing is New Old Stock or it's not. It still can be mint condition, though. And this one seems to be mint and looks great.

路Haven't got the original guarantee, but the watch came with a charming pre-decimal insurance valuation document.
Addition: after doing a bit of research on google I found a picture of the guy who signed the insurance valuation all those years ago, which is a nice touch if you are trying to put together the history of the watch.
