·I’d say AD, build up a good relationship with them, keep going in and buying from them and the perks will come.

Okay, so I talked to the AD about the piece yesterday.
She said they don't have it in stock, and haven't received a new Speedy on bracelet yet, so it would have to be a special order with 10% down, which I am fine with.
I asked what discount I will receive, because I saw a post or 2 on here with guys talking about a 10% or 15% discount
Unfortunately, she said no discount because it is a special order piece.

I’m in Atlanta and the OB and an AD are in the same part of town so it is easy enough to go to either. I’ve got a good relationship with both, but If I’m buying an Omega or Omega accessories I like to go to the OB. For me, the buying an Omega at the OB makes the experience just a little bit more special. Also, I like the folks who work there and want to support them with my business - I don’t mind spending a little more to do that.
It really depends AD to AD. If you are not tied to buying from one in your area try Topper in Burlingame, CA they are usually pretty aggressive and willing to deal. Most are reporting from 10-15% off msrp. They are moving to a bigger location, or just did, and are really trying to move watches lately.

Hey folks, new guy here. I’ve bought several non-Omega watches from an AD and recently bought my first Omega, an Aqua Terra, from a OB. Now I’m about to buy an SMP 300m. Went to my AD today. Best he could do was not me charge me tax (about $350) or if I buy it with the bracelet he’d throw in the rubber strap for free. If the AD gave me a better discount I’d buy from him but I really liked my buying experience at the OB as they treated me like a VIP so I’m most likely going back and paying full retail at the OB.
You can likely get both of those "deals" from an OB as well. For no tax, if you have a friend in another state and you dont mind waiting a few extra days for the watch, you can ask them to ship it to your out of state friend and skip the tax. I live in NYC but have coworkers in NJ so I've done this a few times with different ADs and Boutiques (as in other brands).
The free strap should be an easy negotiation. But they likely wont give you a free deployant, especially if its a ceramic or precious metal deployant.
Be careful trying to avoid state sales tax this way. When I lived in NJ back in the 1990's I bought some nice watches from Tourneau on Madison Avenue and had them ship them to my NJ address to avoid the NY tax. Worked fine until I got a letter from the NJ taxation office a few months later informing me that they have reciprocal agreements with various states and my purchases in NY had been flagged and I owed NJ sales tax on the purchases to the tune of about $900. And that was way before computers made this tracking a lot easier for the 'man'. You may get away with it, you may not. When I questioned Tourneau on this they admitted they often shared their sales data with the various government taxation regimes, and if an audit was performed there was no way it was going to fly under the radar. States like NJ and NY are even hungrier for fat tax revenues these days, an 8% tax on a $10,000 watch is $800. It is worth their time to go after this revenue.
