Boutique freebies when purchasing a watch?

Was in the OB in the Bellagio in Las Vegas, in late April, got a previous gen gray side of the moon (automatic movement), it had a leather strap attached and asked if they had a variation that had a nylon. They didn't, but bought it anyways. During purchase they threw in free nylon strap.
