I too love blue dials First Omega And this came in the mail yesterday @Gavin I will get you a shot with the brown strap as soon as I can pick one up.
Now I know where Omega got their inspiration for the blue on my blue dial Globemaster. Nice! Very nice indeed.
Because it only has lower surface AR coating I guess. With double-sided AR you would get an undisturbed shot of that great dial. Single sided makes sense for a real "diver" but most will be subjected at worst to a height adjustable desk so Omega could have done double AR coating.
