Thank you. I sold a Speedy Pro to buy it. Some people may frown on that, but I have no doubt I made the right choice.
Just posted up my Kontiki in another thread: My SM300: Today I wore the Wittnauer chrono: My SeaGull tourbillon: And one I gave my nephew to wear in his wedding (his choice over vintage Omega ), an Aevig Huldra: ...and one I'd like to have one day, but I seem to have lost the pic of when I tried it on! (hint: has a green sapphire crystal)
Thanks! Yep, I bought that one, my first Connie bumper 354, and my '58 Seamaster 2846 all in a matter of the first 3 days on the Forum.. I guess it kinda got lost in the vintage carpe ho!
Here's a couple more for you including the Globemaster, which Forbes now consider to be a "Power Watch", whatever that means. http://www.forbes.com/sites/msolomon/2016/02/10/best-new-power-watches-rolex-patek-philippe-iwc-omega-cartier-zenith/
Here is my Omega Aqua Terra. I thought I'd get sick of the blue dial, but that hasn't been the case whatsoever.
I forgot a few watches in my previous post. The NOMOS was stolen between April 1st and 5th while in the hands of FedEX. They're still investigating, so I didn't think to post it until this issue is resolved. The whole experience soured my love for the watch, and trying to decide on taking the money or watch # 75/75. Then I have some cheaper blue dial watches laying around, including a vintage SKX009 automatic, a tw- tone Invicta Automatic, and an Orient Blue Mako XL Automatic.
