Blue bezel for 2551.80.00 36mm Seamaster

I have a 36mm 2552.80.00 with the silver bezel insert. I would to have the blue aluminum silver insert installed instead, to make it look like the 2551.80.00 from the 90s bond movies. I am already aware omega sells the entire bezel assembly, not just the insert alone.

Does anyone know if it is easy to source a genuine blue aluminum insert+bezel? Is sending to Omega the only option? Or can I buy the part from a reputable source and have my local watchmaker install it? I see there is one on eBay but I have doubts on its quality and would rather only install omega original parts.

Reason I’m asking, the 90s James Bond 2551.80 is the look I’m really after now and if it’s too much hassle to try to source one I might as well sell it and get a newer SMP with 2500 or 8000 series movement. But I’d rather try to keep this one if possible because I’m really happy with the size and timekeeping and older wave dial.

If the eBay one is that bad then you could always inspect it and then return it. Honestly, eBay can be hit and miss for quality but sometimes you will be surprised with good deals on there.
