Hello everyone. I'm asking for consultation - maybe you see something I don't see but I should, is everything OK ?
As far as I can see the hands have luminous mass inside and therefore the dial should have "Swiss Made T" instead of "Swiss Made" only?
I'm not worried about missing the letter T because a book could be written about that. I have more without the "T"
Need a clear head on photo so we can see the dial better. No angles - camera directly above the watch on a flat surface.
Something feels a bit off with the Automatic Chronometer. The black behind the lettering seems to be much darker than the dial which makes me think it has been re-dialled. Also is that rusting on the left hand side?
You mean there is no Automatic Chronometer? Look at the movement number, it is earlier than some 14902's. Not all 14902's had the Automatic Chronometer
I received this watch last night. There is dirt in the corners from taking off the crystal. I have no tools, I am afraid to move it. After New Year I send it to service.
You mean the 3rd line of text, the “officially certified”? It’s fine that it’s not there, and a +1 from me regarding correctness. Don’t see anything wrong with that dial.
Thanks for the feedback. I don't see anything wrong either, which is why I bought it for my birthday which is today. I have some knowledge, but don't feel omniscient, which is why I wanted to consult. There are some high level experts here, maybe they can comment?
For what it's worth it's look good to me including font, missing officially certified does not worry me and lume in hands either. Plus it adds up. Congrats!
That's why I asked the question here, because those details mentioned didn't bother me at all. I was afraid that I might not see something that others would see. But there is still nothing to be happy about, because maybe not everyone has spoken. Thanks Zdzislaw, I can speak Polish too.
For everyone here to speak out on this matter might be a little ambitious of an ask. Personally, I‘d value quality over quantity when it comes to opinions.
Well, yes, but this is not my first Connie and I can separate the valuable comments from the less valuable ones. For example, there are those who claim that in one of the first Connie 2648, cal. 352RG I moved the star over the Constellation inscription
