Bitten by the watch bug! Chrono / diver suggestions??

The watch bug has bit me hard yet again. The itch is back and stronger than ever 😡. I NEED TO BUY ANOTHER WATCH!

I've been hunting a while for a chronograph or diver in any dial color other than black, preferably white, blue, silver, gray. Practically every watch I own has a black dial and it's time to add some color!

Vintage over modern, 38mm at the very minimum, chrono over diver, and white dial over the other colors are the preferences 😀 but open to all suggestions

The budget is $0-$6000

Help me cure the itch of the nasty watch bug bite. 😀

At the risk of suggesting a less well known brand, perhaps a Girard Perregaux?

The vintage Olimpico is is 37.5mm, the modern GP 38mm, and the modern GP (ref 49480) in particular offers a lot of bang for the buck at <$2k. Both do not have dates (if you dislike dates like me). And since you wanted colour, both have elements of blue and red, all on a silver dial.

A vintage Zodiac Sea Wolf might scratch the itch.

Doesn't quite meet your minimum diameter though. Despite this, you're missing out of a great vintage diver if you don't have one. This one wears really well.

Came with white dial as well.

Owed and sold at some point because of the smaller case, but you are right, an awesome diver watch it is.

I would go Zenith deluca or Tudor big block. Not quite vintage but vintage style, various dial combinations and good investment potential as a bonus.

Not sold on it, but I almost was. I'll tell you one thing though, you'd make a heck of a watch saleswoman! 😀

I was considering the Zenith striking 1/10th tri-color but nervous about potential frequent servicing

Breitling A19340

40 or 41mm. In your price range, I saw one with gold hands and white/steel at the gtg. Stunning watch.

It may have a few references as it was a montbrillent also.

Why not consider one of the less common Omega chronos? For example, the Dynamic3 (or even it's Targa Florio LE)

or even my personal favourite - the Titane Auto Chrono. You are pretty much guaranteed not to bump into another one.....in fact, I don't know if any other member here has one 😀

How do you guys feel about the Zenith striking 1/10th VS Tudor heritage blue chrono?

I've always wanted an ELP tri-color dial, it's a must add to the collection, just not sure if I'll ever find a good 1960's-1970's example at a reasonable price, so do I settle on a modern ELP? The Tudor is yet another must add, but an early good example is way out of my budget, so so same story here, settle on the modern?

Anyhow the Zenith VS Tudor? (Obviously the Zenith is the better timepiece, but overall if we also take bang for buck into account)

I feel that the Tudor is more a fun/play watch with the color scheme while the ELP can be whatever you need it to. I vote ELP vintage or modern
