Thank you Farmaco. I agree, as I have established the watch was serviced 3 times before I got it, by a family friend, who was not a authorised Omega person. I doubt the bezel was changed, but I cannot be 100% sure.

Anyone else apart from the 2 of us have a 29111 with a 220 bezel. Also why are the 29's known for brown dials?

Sorry.

We indicated in the book the known range for 220 bezels: 30.589.xxx to 31.008.xxx (updated information), but in details this is:
30.589.xxx to 30.599.999
30.990.000 to 31.008.xxx

Simply because between 30.600.000 and 30.998.999, no speedmasters.

Again I am happy when information can be updated, based on logical statements.

no speedmaster between 30.600.000 and 30.998.999 or between 30.600.000 and 30.989.999 (as from your previous post)?
thank you.

Oops probably my typo... 30.989.999 looks better, I will check

Thank you very much for checking, because I'm worry about my 145022-69 with serial n° 30.990.8xx (without text "UNADJUSTED" stamped on the bridge).

Thought that this might be of interest, i have a all original Speedmaster 220 bezel with the serial # 3059xxxx.
Saw earlier in the thread that there was some interest of gathering information regarding these watches.
Extract of Archives has been ordered for specific production date.

thank you.

I confirm that the real number is 30.989.999, thus a lot of Speedmasters in 30.990.xxx

Hi everyone,
What would be the price for one of these? In Paris France a guy is asking for 10K for a 1969 model. What do you think?
Thanks 😉

Sounds way too high, even if it's very nice. Maybe the correct price for 2017??!

The price is what anyone is prepared to pay for owning a watch like this . IMHO it a little on the high-side . If your looking for a watch with the missprint try the private watch sale here on the forum.

Thought i might send a pic of mine for reference. I'm in South Africa, so this could confirm the story that they were shipped here in '69.
