I use the omega service case as my travel case. I typically don't travel with more than two watches though.

Sorry to interrupt, but I have a question too: do travellers have any problem carrying multiple watches with them in a case through the airport? Would security ask or assume you are a seller who hasn't declared the products?

I'll travel domestically with anywhere from two to five watches and I've never had a problem. The only time I may see an issue is if you go through customs with 14 Rolexes.

Same regarding extra padding. I'll put a couple small microfiber cloths between any possible metal to metal contact points. It's cheap security.

I use one of these when my watch is in my gym bag, it’s pretty robust and cheap from amazon.
