Thanks for the ones that have helped so far. My Ebay company information is currently getting approved (3 business days), but I do plan on being a longtern active member here as well, so for the trolls with nothing better to do in their life right now than to spread negativity get used to me.

Well, fυck- then I’ll lose my sales forum posting rights. I think I have a couple threads on spring bars that may be worth keeping.

You know what you can do with those spring bars...

So, let’s start this back on the right foot. Welcome to the Omega forums!
If you would like to introduce yourself, this would be an ideal time. Are you a collector, just curious about the hobby or are you looking to be a trader/speculator (not a bad things- lots of dealers on this forum).

This group is primarily made up of collectors, we love all watches and to many it’s just a hobby. But one in which we value honesty and transparency (as you have been so far).
The 200 post rule was put in place several years ago to keep the place a social forum with an attached sales section for established members to use. It helps us all get to know each other before we start talking money.
There is a lot of great knowledge to be had here and there are no stupid questions in watch collecting other than:
“is this a good investment?”
“How much can I get for this?”
Does this watch make my arms look fat?”

hope to see you getting involved in the discussions- this is a great group of people here from all walks of life, all socio-economic backgrounds and incredibly diverse interests.

Hey you’re the one who joined and immediately asked the best way to bypass the forum rules for your own benefit and started post farming, so like, maybe don’t take it so hard. Welcome!

I also appreciate your frankness and honesty, however mistaken your assumption.

As your troll name calling, if that's all it takes to get you worked up, you're going to have a rough time here.

If you care to look back at my history you'll note that I was a bit sensitive myself. Thankfully, after a few private apologies all was forgiven.

Welcome aboard.

I was called some pretty harsh stuff and accused of other unpleasantries my first few months here by some well established members- those “veteran” members don’t post much anymore (correlation or causation…hmm).
Sometimes people need a chance to read the room here after coming from Reddit/WUS/TRF and realize that not everyone is trying to shit on you.

I appreciate what you're saying. In my case, it was me who was the offending party, not the forum members. But it was the same cause, which was my not reading the room. And learning to relax.

My strategy is to hang around and make bad jokes until everyone gets tired of it and kicks me out. Unfortunately for y’all I don’t even have anything to sell. 🍿

Since the OP appears to be a professional dealer, the PRIVATE SALES forum may not be appropriate anyway, since that is really for established contributing members who sell occasionally. So the 200 meaningful post requirement may not be the relevant criterion.

More relevant for him would be the WATCHES FOR SALE forum for professional sellers. It appears that he just needs to be approved to sell there, and the process is described in the PLEASE READ thread. It involves providing proof that you are a professional dealer, etc.

Always a good idea to look around and read the rules.

I trying to hit the 50k post club which opens you up to the platinum champagne lounge…which is 4 guys in their underwear under a bare bulb winding their Speedmasters…it’s an elite group I am told.

Am I the only one that likes this new guy? He doesn't have a hidden agenda at all and is respectful-friendly. Who cares if he is primarily interested in selling his watch. He did ask nicely about it ya know.
I agree. At least he was upfront about what he wants to do and he asked the question respectfully and politely. We can certainly tell him what the rules are, but no need to bash him. Wait a minute. I agree with Fred? What? WTF? 😁

New member here. I have a watch I'd like to sell but have 0 posts not including this one. Whats the quickest way to get approved here?

If you love watches you'll soon discover that OF is highly addictive.
