New member here. I have a watch I'd like to sell but have 0 posts not including this one. Whats the quickest way to get approved here? I'm thinking comment on alot of people's post but how much is too many comments for the day? Or is there a better way?

Why don't you just go to eBay and don't bother us?

The 200 post rule is there because it results in a trusting and respectful relationship (mostly) by the time a member has hit 200 posts. Attempting to circumvent that process misses the point of the rule entirely and will not looked upon kindly by members or the mods.

It's a game of Snakes and Ladders (names in other languages are available). Post often to climb a ladder. The moderators, aka the owners of the board-game, see you doing that and down a snake you go. It's a game you can't win.

Welcome and appreciate the transparency- better than most drive-by sellers do.
The post farming won’t help you, the mods/members can sniff it out a mile away and people here won’t trust you.
Your best bet is honestly eBay, post lots of good pictures, an honest description and a .99 starting bid and let it roll. You will get far more exposure there to a global market and you will get the actual market value- whatever that may be. And it’s far less work than you have already put in here.

My strategy is to hang around and make bad jokes until everyone gets tired of it and kicks me out. Unfortunately for y’all I don’t even have anything to sell. 🍿

Lol! I officially have a new goal in life. On a serious note, props for actually being constructive and giving good advice above.

Am I the only one that likes this new guy? He doesn't have a hidden agenda at all and is respectful-friendly. Who cares if he is primarily interested in selling his watch. He did ask nicely about it ya know.

Getting back to the OPs question, where to sell depends on what kind of watch it is. If it is something relatively new you can always sell to the many online dealers around, that makes for a very quick liquidation with minimal effort and hassle. Sometimes the price offered isn't too bad, depending on condition and desirability. If it is something vintage you can go eBay, but that comes with its own issues.

Well, fυck- then I’ll lose my sales forum posting rights. I think I have a couple threads on spring bars that may be worth keeping.
