A Grand Complication is an interesting read about 2 very rich men, Packard and Graves, who at the start of the 20th century, sought to have built and own the watch with the most "complications". It's also a good period piece and a story of Patek Philippe

I rang the Omega museum who told me that it's now no problem to order the book through your local boutique or AD. As I'm in Switzerland I asked if I could collect one on my drive back to the UK. It's at the museum now waiting for me.
From this I understand they are back in circulation and fairly easy to get hold of. If the Trafford people don't sort it out for you then ask another AD/boutique.

If anybody needs a AJTT book I can get it and send it to you. As I'm located in Switzerland it won't be a steal though. I can get a new book in German/French/English from Bern's AD and send it to you and I will charge effective costs only. Meaning it would be 300 Swiss Francs for the book (if I remember correctly) plus shippping costs without any additional charges for myself. Send me a pm if you can't get the book at your place and need one. And make sure to check ebay first in order to find out if you can get a cheaper one.

Unfortunately I have to withfraw my offer. Today I was at Bern's OB to get an English version for a forum member and they told me at the OB that the book is no longer being produced and that they have no books on stock anymore.
The dealer also told me that a new edition will be published in about 4-5 months, most probably being offered for the first time at Basel's Watchworld. He continued telling me that the new edition got a complete overhaul with new pictures, more watches and a revised version about the moonwatch.

I would try to get that confirmed by the Museum, it may be, but it is not what the Omega in Bienne has been saying for the last 2 years.

Chronos. This is really odd. I passed by the museum the middle of last month and collected one. I'd rung the previous week and asked if they could arrange it for me and if so I would detour to collect it They kindly arranged to have one brought up from the store. They'd previously told me that I should order via an AD in the UK.

Best book to have is the next one published as the "old" books don't tell the complete ( read historically correct ) story !
