Hodinkee sold a steel one on strap for $2700 a little while back:

Given that they tend to be top of the market, it's safe to say that this wasn't recently - however other dealers seem to be around $3k for steel variants without a bracelet, excluding V1s1on V1ntage who has one for £6850 - but then we know about him and what he sells... ::facepalm1::

If anything I'd expect a gold gap, with a personalised engraving on the back to be priced at less than an untouched steel watch... but I could be very wrong.
